Join us as we discover how to work with the Good Folk, The Shining Ones, otherwise known as the Fey. There are many techniques for enhancing your inner work by learning about and partnering with the Faeries. In this class we will first discuss the nature of the Good Folk and of the Realm of Faery. We will learn about the spiritual growth potential for both parties in understanding and working together, and proceeding with these wondrous beings safely and with respect.
There are many strange beliefs about who the Faeries are, and about the dangers and benefits of working with them. Like any new experience or foreign folk, there are many rumors and superstitions that prevent people from discovering their own Faery Path. We will talk about these subjects and learn how to prepare ourselves for Faery contact. For those wary of collaborating with the Fey, you will learn techniques to increase your feelings of safety and understanding (you will be completely protected in this class). Because of the nature of this type of work we will also discuss inner journey practices, and how to effectively do an inner journey to other realms.
The last portion of the class will involve an actual journey to meet the local Fey Folk and to possibly begin your own journey in Faery Work with a Faery Companion.
This is a three-hour class. There will be a handout to take home. Please bring a notebook for note taking, and if you wish, you are encouraged to bring a small gift as a Faery Offering. This offering should not contain plastic or iron- for example, it can be a few berries, a crystal, or a simple charm.
You do not need to have extensive magical experience to join this class, but you must be sincere in your desire to explore with us as we learn about this subject. We look forward to seeing you there.
