Northamptonshire rock band STORMBRINGER formed in the summer of 2011 to create what would become the bands 2013 debut album ‘MMXIII,' a mix of Classic Rock and Heavy Metal with a contemporary edge saw STORMBRINGER quickly set themselves apart.
Successful years touring included prestigious festival appearances at Download festival and a main stage appearance at Bloodstock Open Air Festival.
Two further studio albums followed; 2015’s ‘Blood & Rust’ and 2017’s ‘Born A Dying Breed,' both of which received critical acclaim. The band went on to feature on Scuzz TV, in Metal Hammer and toured extensively all over the UK.
November 19, 2021, – Stormbringer release a brand-new studio album ‘AIIV’ and rediscovers the band as trailblazers of their own cutting-edge sound, full of melodic hooks, honest emotional song writing and champion musicianship.
Recorded at Parlour Studios in Kettering Northamptonshire, Stormbringer hit the studio with long-time collaborator Russ Russell as Producer (known for his work with Napalm Death, Dimmu Borgir, At the Gates, The Wildhearts, The Exploited, Evile, The Haunted, New Model Army, Eradikator, Evil Scarecrow and many more).
The sessions returned an album with another layer of immense artistry to share with fans both new and established. “Having worked with these guys on previous albums, it’s fantastic to see how much they raise the bar with each release – this one more than ever. There really is a new fire in the belly of the beast; you can hear it roar throughout the album” says the legend that is Russ Russell.
