Our Heroes & Hope Recovery Walk will be in May 31, 2025!
This event will include an awareness walk bringing individuals in recovery, local first responders, community supports and resources, and community members supporting recovery together. There will also be a free vendor and services fair on our grounds, and a free lunch offered to follow the walk.
We will register at Safe Harbor at 10am. Tshirts will be available for a suggested donation, or free for Safe Harbor program participants. Light refreshments and coffee will be available for participants.
At 11am, we will walk from Safe Harbor, proceed around the Center Circle, and then return to Safe Harbor for the vendor fair and lunch. Along the way, we will stop at the bridge overlooking the Bushkill for a small remembrance ceremony.
Please note there are changes to the walk this year aside from the date! We will be centering the walk around Safe Harbor as opposed to ending in Riverside park as in past years. In the past, we often had residents and day program participants who were interested in the walk but could not make it all the way to the park. This way, those that cannot walk the entire way can still participate in the vendor fair, connect with services, receive the free lunch, and participate in the remembrance ceremony.
