The Knightwood School Summer Term Disco will be running on Friday 13th June. This term, the discos will be run differently to the Autumn disco, with three different discos for different age groups.
Please make sure you book the correct timeslot!
Year 5 & 6 Disco will run from 7pm- 8pm. TTickets are £3.50 per child and can be booked in advance to either print off or scan via a mobile on the evening.
Tickets will be available on the door if you aren't able to purchase in advance, cash or card will be accepted, but for speed of entry we'd encourage pre-advance purchasing.
After School Club will still run as normal, children will use a different space during disco set-up. Valley Knights will accommodate those who wish to attend the disco. Please note this at the time of booking.
At collection, please wait to be called into the hall where you'll be able to collect your child from the class group sat in the hall. No child will be able to leave without an adult present. Teachers will be at the event to support us knowing which parents are to collect each child. Should you have a different person collecting your child to the main parents/carer, please make a note on the booking.
We have the DJ booked, and a chill out area planned for the children who may find the disco itself a little too loud or overwhelming. A snack (chocolate bar) will be offered when leaving the disco, please note that no snack will be given without an adult present.
We're expecting some brilliant dance moves from both the kids and teachers, look forward to seeing you there!
ADDITIONAL INFO
Please have your tickets ready on arrival, either printed or on mobile and have to hand in when you arrive.
Please bring named water bottle filled with water. On arrival, water bottles will be placed in class trays and will be easy to access throughout the event. Water refills will be available.
You will be asked to take your child’s coat away with you, there is no access to pegs.
Parents not helping must leave their child/children at the disco entrance. We'd please ask that you do not hang around by the door as this slows down the entry for others.
A registered first aider will be present for the event. Please note any medical needs for your child(ren) at the time of booking, or please inform a volunteer on entry to the event.
Collection
Please queue as directed on the school apron. When the disco is finished you will be allowed into the school hall to collect your child.
After your child has been collected by their adult, and as they leave the school hall, they will be offered a treat (this is usually a chocolate bar). If you do not want your child to have the treat, or if you would like to see the ingredients, please speak to the volunteer at the exit door.
Siblings – due to large number of siblings between the disco, we are no longer able to allow siblings to enter the disco early. They will need to wait until the start time of their timed disco to enter.
Heelys should not be worn.
CAR PARKING:
The school car park will not be available for either disco. Please use the car park at the end of Glendowan Road if necessary.
