Surrey Border & Camberley Railway Weekend – Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th May 2025
Join us in a Celebration of the locomotives of H.C.S. Bullock as we hark back to the 1930's when the heartbeat of the Surrey Border & Camberley Railway (SBCR) was very much still beating. For the first time in history, all Six of Bullock’s western style Pacific Locomotives will be in steam together, at the same place a line-up never ever seen before!
With our 1930's theme this weekend, we would like to promote, anyone turning up 1930's dress up shall qualify for a 10% discount on their day rover ticket!
Alongside our Home Fleet, we are delighted to be joined by Bullock 0-6-0 3007 ‘Firefly’ will also join us. Courtesy of owner John Kerr, on Static Display alongside new build Bullock Atlantic 4012, being built by our very own Chief Mechanical Engineer, Simon Merritt.
Our Gala Weekend will feature a full programme featuring all six Pacifics hauling Trains around the Country Park, both on their own and in Double (maybe even Triple or more) headed format, with Special Trains such as our ever popular Lakes Express, as well as the launch of our brand new Special Service, The Parallakes Express, departing Eastleigh Parkway at 09:15 each day. Two trains will each perform a Lakes Express, with a Parallel Run for one lap thrown in for good measure! No prebooking for Special Services during the weekend will be required.
