Hailing from Kolkata, India, Dipanjan Guha is a master of Indian Classical Music, celebrated for his innovative sitar style that blends depth, serenity, and vibrant expression. His performances transport audiences through time and space, weaving dreams and emotions into a profound sensory experience. A global performer, Dipanjan’s music resonates with both tradition and modernity, captivating listeners worldwide.
Joining him is Amit Kavthekar, one of the leading tabla artists of his generation and the last ganda-bandhan disciple of the legendary Alla Rakha, as well as a prominent student of Zakir Hussain. Known for his dynamic collaborations with Western classical, jazz, and fusion musicians, Amit is a member of the Purnalokha quartet alongside David Balakrishnan of the Grammy-winning Turtle Island Quartet. A founding member of the band Sawaari and a faculty member at the New England School of Music, Amit’s rhythmic mastery elevates every performance.
