We hope you can join us once again at The Grove Theatre, under the Central Library right in the heart of Eastbourne town, for another full evening of ‘across-the-board’ Northern Soul.
Those of you who have joined us at our previous outings at this fab venue know how special it is to us. There is a great wooden dancefloor and separate break-out area with fully-licensed bar. The location is fantastic, and literally just a 2-minute walk from Eastbourne Railway Station (and main town centre bus stops).
We are excited to welcome Mr Kev Griffin as our special guest DJ for the evening. Kev's another of the Sussex soul scene's stalwarts and is a regular at various soul events throughout the South East, playing everything from 60's oldies to new releases and everything in-between! Alongside Steve Guanori and Kim Styles, Kev runs the Strictly Come Soul Dancing events held regularly at the Medway School of Dancing in Tonbridge.
Our previous Saturday evening events at The Grove have all completely sold out and we are expecting (hoping!!) for the same this time. ACCESSIBILITY
At the present time we regret there isn't an access point to and from the venue that a mobility impaired person can use unaided. Sadly, no thought was given to such provision when buildings like the Central Library, in which the theatre is located, were designed.
This event may include sustained flashing lighting that could affect those who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy or have other photosensitivities.
