One of the last tournaments of the year for us here at Hail Mary's, and it's a good one!
A Chaos Space Marine exclusive tournament, 2000pts, fixed missions, best of 3x matches, with a fantastic prize just in time for Christmas!
Eligible armies: Any 'Heretic Astartes', 'Death Guard', 'Emperor's Children', 'Thousand Sons' or 'World Eaters' armies. Rule sets, datasheets etc. must up-to-date on the day and taken from official sources i.e. the 40k app.
Hail Mary Games is proud to announce Chaos Divided! Aimed at experienced players and with a grand prize of an Hellforged chaos space marine Battleforce boxset! Day will consist of 3 2000pt games per player, winner will be determined by overall VP scored. 1st game draws will be randomised by dice rolls, with the second-round match ups determined by VP scored in first game i.e. 2 lowest scoring players will play off etc. 3rd game match ups will be selected in the same fashion, as closely as possible avoiding however, players playing the same opponent twice.
Format:
- 3 games, 2000pts, points values as per the official 40k app on the day will be considered legal.
Scoring:
We will compare VP, the highest Primary VP wins, in the event of a tie, the highest secondary VP wins. In the unlikely event of further ties we will look at units killed and units remaining.
Points for Paint: Players can score 10 points for "Painted" armies. When all models in a player's army have 3+ colours, a textured base and a painted rim they will be considered and scored as "Painted", exceptions to bases can be made if the obvious theme of the scheme doesn’t call for a textured base.
Proxies: Can be used providing both competitors are happy with the proxy and there is no obvious advantage in terms of scale compared to the official model and all proxies must be on the same size base as the official model.

Matches: Deployment, primary’s, terrain layout have been selected from UKTC.
Mission Decks: We will be using the new 25/26 mission decks, store will provide decks to use.
Missions:
1st round: Match ups will randomly drawn, Primary on all tables will be 'Take & Hold', Search & Destroy deployment. Fixed secondary missions; No Prisoners & Assassination
2nd round: Match ups will be based on wins/losses/VP scores, winners playing winners etc. Primary on all tables will be 'Purge the foe', Crucible of Battle deployment. Fixed secondary missions; Behind enemy lines & Establish Locus
3rd Round: Match ups will once again be based on current total score in the fairest possible way, avoiding player's playing the same opponent twice. Primary on all tables will be Terraform, Sweeping engagement deployment. Fixed secondary missions of Storm hostile objective & Engage on all fronts.

1st place will win 1x Hellforged chaos space marine Battleforce boxset.
Timings:
Attendees are encouraged to show up at 9.00am for a 9.30am kick off. Participants are encouraged to keep the pace of the game high in order to stay within the schedule time of 3 hours per game to allow terrain to be re-laid for the next game . Games may need to be 'talked out' to achieve this.
1st match: 9.30 - 12.30
Break: 12.30 - 13.00
2nd match: 13.00 - 16.00
Break: 16.00 - 16.30
3rd match: 16.30 - 19.30
Awards: 20.00
Sportsmanship is always encouraged at Hail Marys, we are all here to have fun and enjoy our hobbies ultimately. Any rules disputes will be talked out between the players involved and an impartial 3rd party.
