This meetup is aimed at parents and carers of children and young people who present with PDA traits.
PDA is a very complex and misunderstood type of autism, that can leave parents confused and quite isolated.
If we can get together and share stories, ideas and support, it will make the day to day living a little easier.
In turn we can fight the stigma and misunderstanding around a condition that is often dismissed and not taken seriously.
It is vital that those supporting our children and young people, understand PDA and the impact of incorrect support.
Together we are stronger.
We will meet at the carpark next to the Folly Lake cafe @ Risby Lakes.
