EPA Compost Collection Volunteer / Voluntariado de Abono Orgánico

Our Community Compost Collections in East Palo Alto allows folks to divert their compostable food waste into gardening compost to grow nourishing fruits and vegetables!

Volunteering will consist of collecting food scraps, distributing clean compost bins, and interacting with community members at the farmers' market. Please be prepared for strong smells and wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Review the tasks you might be doing when you volunteer with us on the document.

Dates and times: East Palo Alto compost collections take place every Wednesday from 8:00am-12:00pm, but volunteer support is most needed from 8:30am-10:30am.
