Horticulture Programs at the East Moline Library

Join University of Illinois Extension Horticulture Educator Emily Swihart for a fun and informative gardening program at the library, and dive deeper into these two topics. (Come to one or both):

• 10:00 AM – Seed Starting 101: New to seed starting? This beginner-friendly session covers container and soil selection, timing, light requirements, and troubleshooting tips to boost your confidence.
• 1:00 PM – Container Gardening Made Easy: No yard? No problem! Learn how to select containers and soil, choose the right plants, and care for your container garden with ease.
