5,000 Meters, 5,000 Lives – Swim for inspiration

So, I’ve decided to do something a little crazy and have been thinking about it for a while, I will be swimming 5km to raise awareness for cancer in June 2025. Here’s the twist: for every meter I swim, I want to honor someone impacted by cancer. That’s 5,000 meters, 5,000 names.

And I need your help. If you know someone, whether it’s a friend, family member, or even an organization, who’s been affected by cancer, I want to hear their story. Nominate them, and they’ll be part of a tribute video that I’ll create once I hit the 5,000 nominations.

This isn’t just about me swimming (trust me, it’s going to be a struggle), it’s about all of us coming together to share these stories and show how strong the cancer community is.

Once I get all 5,000 names, I’ll share the promo video, and it’s going to be something special. So let’s make every meter count.
