Weekday Warriors Native Seed Sorting Party!

Join us for a cozy night of indoor conservation at the Township Service Center! We will work at tables to sort native seeds that our Meridian Conservation Corps has collected throughout the summer and fall from Township parks and preserves. We will have snacks, warm beverages and cozy music or movie playing. No experience is necessary, we will teach you all you need to know! We may even have some extra seeds to hand out to local folks wanting to start native plants in their yard. Come chat with us about native plants and meet fellow community members lending a helping hand!

Weekday Warriors occur every other Thursday (holiday dependent) from 1 pm to 3 pm at a different location. This small, but mighty weekday group meets every other Thursday to work on small, but important stewardship projects in the Township. We do invasive species removal, litter cleanup, native seed collection and sowing, sometimes all at once!

Participants are encouraged to pre-register but walk-ins are welcome.
