Get ready for a festive encounter with the Grinch this holiday season!
Join Meridian Township Parks and Recreation for our
“Face the Grinch – Grinchmas Photo Opportunity!”
Enjoy a stroll through the Nancy Moore trails and meet the one and only Grinch! He’s playful, mischievous, and ready to bring some holiday fun to your family photo.
The event will take place on Thursday, December 18 from 5:45 pm to 8:00 pm. Participants will check-in outside the Meridian Service Center (2100 Gaylord C. Smith Ct, Okemos) before taking a stroll through Nancy Moore Park for a photo with the Grinch.
Check-In:
Check in at the Parks and Recreation Office at 2100 Gaylord C. Smith Ct.
Please arrive on time; four other families will be joining you on this festive walk to meet the “Mean Green” himself!
The Grinch will be waiting at the Nancy Moore Park Pavilion where you can have the opportunity to take a Grinchy photo.
Trail Information:
• ½-mile stroll through the twinkling, evening woods to the Grinch’s photo area.
• ½-mile return walk back to your starting point.
• Trails will be lined with glowing tea lights for a warm, festive atmosphere and some grinchy themed decorations.
• A shorter trail option is available—please ask check-in staff if needed.
Plus, enjoy a cup of hot cocoa to keep warm!
Celebrate the season with a lighthearted Grinch-filled adventure full of laughs, holiday cheer, and a special Grinchy surprise to take home.
