Mid-Michigan Spartans Present - The MSU Student Cold Case Unit

MSU's School of Criminal Justice, within the MSU College of Social Science, has a unique partnership with the Michigan State Police (MSP) and the Lansing Police Department (LPD) that allows current students to partner with detectives as they attempt to solve cold cases. This program is one of the innovative ways the School of Criminal Justice is preparing students for future careers in law enforcement.

This is a free event for Spartans interested in learning about the program, its success stories, and the skills learned by students who engage in this work. Program Director and School of Criminal Justice Instructor, Allison Rojek, will lead a discussion featuring current CJ students, recent graduates of the program, and involved law enforcement personnel.

This event will take place in the 300 Room of the MSU Innovation Center (the old Jacobsen's building) at 325 E. Grand River. Do NOT enter through Jackson Zone or Aveda. There is a seperate entrance on the west end of the building. Enter under the awning that reads "325 E. Grand River" and take the elevators to the third floor. Park in your favorite East Lansing public lot. There is a parking garage immediately behind the building. Be aware that public lots and garages in East Lansing require a credit or debit card to pay parking fees.

As with all Mid-Michigan Spartans events, an additional ticket option is available for those who wish to make a donation to support the operations of our club. The donation ticket is NOT a ticket to the event. If you wish to do both, make sure to select a general admission ticket and a donation ticket. We appreciate the generosity of those whose past contributions have allowed us to keep our programming inclusive and accessible.
