Camping (BJC will have an entire camping area set aside for the weekend: powered sites $20.00pp/night(limited number available), unpowered $15.00pp/night

Septic toilets and hot showers are on site. Rubbish bins are also provided.

Come and celebrate Brisbane Jeep Club's 20th Birthday with a weekend 4wding the great tracks Black duck Valley has to offer as well as reminisce and share stories past around the camp fire of how BJC has grown through the years with your fellow Jeepers. We will have a food truck (Cow in a Box

Saturday 9 August
0700 - 0930 - Arrival - Registration and camp set up ( park office and shelter 4 area)
0945 - 1000 - Weekend trip briefing - under main shelter - all drivers to attend
1015 - 1545 - Wheeling trips (Easy/Medium/Difficult) - lunch on the trails
1600 - 1730 - Flex ramp challenge - main shelter area
1600 - 1930 - Dinner (Cow in a box or BYO) and give-aways - under main shelter
1930 - 2030 - “light up the night” brightest lights challenge - main shelter area
2030 - late - Campfire and social hangout - shelter 4 area main campfire
Sunday 10 August
0700 - 0900 - Breakfast and coffee - Cow in a box - main shelter area
0830 - 1000 - Scratched’n’ Dirty - line up your Jeeps - peoples choice
1015 - 1500 - Wheeling trips (Easy/Medium/Difficult) - lunch on the trails
1500 - 1600 - Pack up and farewells
Minimum safety gear for all BJC trips:
Enclosed footwear is mandatory for all off road trips except beach trips
Rated vehicle tow hooks front and rear. A Hayman Reese recovery adaptor is good for the rear tow hook.

UHF two way, handheld is fine
Visitors can do two trips
Pets are not permitted on this club trip
Alcohol is not to be consumed by drivers or passengers on runs
No illegal drugs or firearms are permitted at any time.
It is recommended that you
Take sufficient water and food for the duration of the trip
Fill up with petrol before you arrive at the meeting point
Take sunscreen, insect repellent and a hat.
The following trip ratings are used for BJC club trips (see the trip classification page for more detail)
EASY
Type of driving: Mainly high range 4WDing with some low range possible.
Locations: Typically, forestry trails or beach runs. Eg Mt Mee, Double Island Point, Condamine
Expected terrain: Mostly unsealed roads with minor obstacles and minor gradients or beach driving (hard and soft sand). May have shallow water crossings.
Vehicle suitability: Suitable for stock clearance with dual range and road tyres.
Recovery Equipment: Recovery equipment for every trip is as per club standards.
Driver experience: Suitable for all, including novice drivers.
MEDIUM
Type of driving: Mainly low range 4WDing but with some high range possible.
Locations: Predominately 4WD parks with moderate track ratings or National Parks. Eg Sundown NP, Bellthorpe NP
Expected terrain: Tracks with some steep, rocky, slippery and/or sandy sections. May have shallow water crossings.
Vehicle suitability: Suitable for medium clearance vehicles with dual range and all-terrain, mud or off-road tyres.
Recovery Equipment: Recovery equipment for every trip is as per club standards.
Driver experience: Suitable for drivers with some 4WD experience or 4WD training.
DIFFICULT (visitors at trip leader discreation)
Type of Driving: Low range 4WDing.
Locations: Predominately 4WD parks with difficult track ratings.
Expected Terrain: Tracks with frequent sections of steep ascents or descents, deep ruts, step ups/downs, slippery slopes, rocks, muddy sections and/or sandy sections. May have deeper water crossings.
Vehicle Suitability: Suitable for medium to high clearance vehicles with dual range and mud or all-terrain tyres. It is recommended the vehicle has bash plates, rock sliders, bar work and traction aids.
Recovery Equipment: Recovery equipment for every trip is as per club standards.
Driver Experience: Recommended for drivers with moderate 4WD experience.
