East Hampton High School Class of 85’s 40th Year Reunion

The event will take place on the outdoor patio overlooking the river and we'll also have use of the cozy indoor lounge and bar area as well. If it rains we’ll have the option to move entirely indoors. For those who have not been to the Gelston House recently, I can assure you that the atmosphere, food and service are all exceptional.

We’re going with a full sit down dinner and our entrees options include:

Bistro Steak, Parmesan Encrusted Cod, Gelston Chicken and Pasta Cavatappi

You'll be asked to select 1 of the 4 at the time of your ticket purchase.

Dinner, tax & gratuity are all included in the ticket price of $60 per person.

(Eventbrite processing fees for tickets are also included & were unavoidable.)

Drinks will be separate and are to be purchased individually through a cash bar.

All are encouraged to attend and to bring your spouses or significant others to join us! Ticket prices are per person so please make sure to purchase one for each person who will attend and also select their meal choice at that time.

Additional guests - In each of our prior reunions, we've welcomed a small number of non Class of 85 friends or siblings and I believe that we should extend the same warm invitation to a special few for our 40th.

Please share the link to this evite with anyone and everyone from our class to ensure that we get a large turnout that also includes people who've not come to reunions in the past!

Note that on Sunday October 12th there will also be an optional brunch served at The Gelston House for those who choose to take part.

Lodging: There are two great local options for the night of the event and weekend overall.

(1) The Gelston House itself has 5 beautiful rooms upstairs ranging from $200 to $350 per night and this would make it ideal to simply come down from your room for the event or escape upstairs at the end of the night. Blerta is the name of the manager you should ask to speak to regarding a reservation there and you should let her know that you are part of the East Hampton High reunion group if you call or email.

(2) The Bevin House Bed and Breakfast in East Hampton is also a local gem located at 26 Barton Hill Road. There are 5 rooms there priced just below $200 per night each and a terrific breakfast is included with your stay. The inn keeper Amanda is also extremely friendly and is willing to allow additional guests to join guests for breakfast at your request. Please let her know that you are part of the East Hampton High reunion group if you call or email her.
