2nd Annual Inclusive Impact Conference

This summer we are thrilled to welcome back the second annual Inclusive Impact Conference at Michigan State University, taking place at the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center on July 9-10, 2025.

Last year’s inaugural conference surpassed our expectations, bringing together nearly 300 participants from MSU and beyond for an engaging evening kick-off event followed by a full day of learning, networking and inspiration.

Attendees shared overwhelmingly positive feedback. One participant described it as an event that “set the standard high for future conferences I go to. I met incredible people and listened to incredible speakers. It was truly an incredible two days!” Another participant shared an astute observation, stating, “The collective of DEIB practitioners in this region of the state have the potential to lead cutting edge research and to provide service to the community. We could become a national role model.”

Among 105 survey respondents, we are thrilled that we exceeded our conference goals by receiving over 90% approval ratings affirming the need for creating a sustained annual professional development, strengthening relationships among DEI advocates and professionals, developing a comprehensive network of DEI practitioners and offering educational opportunities to advance knowledge of inclusion (see page 15).
