Beginner/Intermediate Handbuilding

This class is for anyone who loves to get their hands muddy and play with clay; there are so many fun ways to create ceramics that aren’t the pottery wheel!

You’ll learn the basic techniques of handbuilding like slab and coil building, as well as working with essential tools, to make your own functional and decorative pottery. Also learn a variety of ways to glaze/finish your work.

This is a 3-session series with instructor Johanna Buwalda.

12 hours of instruction
25 lbs of clay

glazing
open studio access during the month of September
