Kindred Grove Farms is throwing our first "GIY (Grow It Yourself) Workshop"
Our Mission is to help everyone get their hands dirty, grow something delicious, and feeling the joy of picking dinner from their own backyard
Our gardeners at the farm will be sharing tips, tricks and secrets to help successfully grow food in all kinds of environments from pots, to raised beds, to a hole in the ground.
The goal of this event is to share our knowledge, meet other gardeners, empower new gardener to give it a go, and to ensure that all the plant starts that were lovingly grown from seed find homes
We will be accepting any and all old garden pots and trays as we like to re-use and recycle here on the farm.
All plant starts will be sold by donation with NO minimum. So we encourage anyone and everyone to give it a go! ALL PLANTS MUST FIND NEW HOMES!!
Tons of varieties are still available from Tomatoes, Peppers, Squash varieties, Eggplant, Cabbage and more!
Presentations will be done and will include topics such as:
- Starting from Seed
- Soil tricks
- Fertilizer (What, how often, when)
- Pruning
- Harvesting
Parking is across the farm stand, and along Camille Road.
Popcorn, Freeze dried Samples, Friendship and garden secrets provided at no cost!
Of course our farm stand will also be stocked with fresh baked sourdough breads, cookies and other tasty offerings.
