June 16-17: Outdoor Education Leading Workshop (2 Day Workshop)

The Iowa DNR and CB Innovations are coming together to offer teachers (formal and informal educators) a FREE workshop. Each educator who completes the two-day workshop will be trained to use the Project WILD curriculum, FISHIOWA certification, and Hunter Education Instructor certification at no cost to them. These organizations are giving their time and resources to make this happen for Iowa teachers. Participants are to dress for outdoor activities as much of the day will be outdoors. Both days are required for the certifications promised above.

Participants are encouraged to stay over in the Hickory Hills Cabins to enjoy the park and practice outdoor recreation skills learned in the workshop.
