True Crime Club: Amanda Riley

After the birth of her first child, Amanda Riley announced that she had been diagnosed with cancer. Friends rallied around her. She set up an online collection for financial donations and collected over $100,000 in contributions. She kept supporters updated via a blog and photographs. This went on for years before it was revealed it was all a scam.
