Velvet Pastures Ensemble: Igor Stravinsky's "L'histoire du soldat"

On Sunday, October 12 at 2:00pm, join the Velvet Pastures Ensemble, under the direction of Andrew Boysen, Jr., for a delightful afternoon of Igor Stravinsky’s L’histoire du soldat (The Soldier’s Tale). Rose Pruiksma stars are the Soldier, Rob Haskins as the Devil, and Carlos Martinez will serve as the Narrator. The ensemble is comprised of Karl Ørvik, violin, Bronek Suchanek, bass, Elizabeth Gunlogson, clarinet, Janet Polk, bassoon, Adam Gallant, cornet, Brandon Newbould, trombone, and Timur Rubinshteyn, percussion.
