Once Upon a Wetland - World Premiere!

Once Upon a Wetland, the BQP documentary short by Elizabeth Miller-Derstine, is having its big stream premiere at the OutSouth Film Festival in Durham on August 15!

The film follows contestants as they prepare and compete in the 2023 Beaver Queen Pageant. It highlights the wonderful celebration of community that everyone loves in the Beaver Queen Pageant.

At the festival, the film is part of the “Celebration” program of short films. Dress up in your beaver finery and tails, and let’s have a joyous beaver invasion at the OutSouth festival on August 15th!
