(10am - 11:15am) Shiboka Youth Magazine Live Showcase highlights the creative voices of Durham's young writers, poets, and artists. Experience live poetry performances, gallery-style displays of student writing and artwork, and the official reveal of our digital Shiboka magazine platform.
(11:15am - 1pm) Future Founders Pitch Competition puts youth entrepreneurship center stage, as students from our fall/winter cohort present their business ideas to a live audience and panel of community judges, plus teen wining prizes to invest in their business ideas.
This is more than an event—it's a launchpad for 2026 youth programming and a chance for parents, educators, and community partners to witness what our young people can accomplish in just 10 weeks.
