Come join the Durham Community in celebrating the 108th Annual Durham Parade and Picnic.
Our theme this year is, "Small Town, Big Dreams'".
The Parade starts at 10:00 am sharp in downtown Durham and the Picnic at the Durham Community Park follows immediately afterwards with an official kick off at 12:00.
This event is a great time to get together with friends and family as well as a time to meet your fellow community members.
This year we are looking forward to many exciting events and activities such as:
--The Durham Exchange Club will be providing a variety of ice cold beverages from some of our best local vendors!
--Various Food Trucks will be there to feed your appetite in many exciting ways.
--Durham 4H is bringing their friendly animals for everyone to meet!
--Live music from local cover band Ivy Flats will keep us dancing all afternoon!
--Girl with a Brush face painting will be there to make sure everyone is looking festive!
--Bounce houses and inflatable slides will be available, free of charge, for hours of fun!
-- Local juggling sensation, Catch it Quick Juggling, will be there to entertain us all.
-- Snow cones and cotton candy will be provided.

--We are continuing the tradition of the Vendor Fair so you can browse locally provided goods.
Again this year we will be doing an evening Homerun Derby presented by DRPD and Durham Little League at 5:30 at the Durham Community Park with live music by the Durham High School Jazz Band followed by an entertaining show my Circus Luminescence and a professional fireworks show you will not want to miss!
This event's sole purpose and mission is to provide a fun filled day that brings everyone from Durham and its surrounding communities together. We would like everyone to know they are welcome and we hope to see you there!
