Haiku Meeting -

Haiku group will meet on the second Tuesday of the month at the Center for Spiritual Living Tacoma at 6:30 p.m. Meetings will be a safe place to share.

A haiku is a traditional form of Japanese poetry that consists of three lines. The structure is based on syllables, with the first line having 5 syllables, the second line having 7 syllables, and the third line having 5 syllables. This 5-7-5 syllable pattern is a distinctive characteristic of haikus.

Haikus often capture a moment in nature, express emotions, or convey a deep sense of simplicity and clarity. They aim to evoke a vivid image or feeling in the reader's mind with just a few words.
