Join us at Dunwoody Nature Center on Saturday, August 23rd, for the Great Southeast Pollinator Census—a unique event where kids and parents can become citizen scientists for the day! From 1:00 to 2:00 PM, families will learn how to observe and count pollinators like bees, butterflies, and beetles while exploring the garden. No prior experience is needed—our staff educator will provide simple instructions and support to guide you through the process.

This engaging and educational activity not only sparks curiosity about nature but also contributes meaningful data to regional conservation efforts. It’s the perfect mix of science, learning, and outdoor fun—designed especially for families with young children who love exploring the world around them.
