Goompi Community NAIDOC 2025 – The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy
Join us on Saturday 2 August 2025 for a vibrant and inclusive celebration of culture, connection, and community at the Goompi Community NAIDOC event on Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island).
Held at the Dunwich State School Oval (and Welsby Street), this free, family-friendly event brings together First Nations and non-Indigenous community members to honour the 2025 NAIDOC theme “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy.”
Enjoy a rich program of traditional and contemporary Quandamooka performances, cultural workshops, market stalls, bush tucker tastings, arts and crafts, storytelling, and interactive activities. The day celebrates intergenerational knowledge-sharing, cultural pride, and reconciliation.
