Ayurveda reminds us that true health begins in the kitchen. For thousands of years, spices have been treasured not only for their flavor but for their power to heal, protect, and prevent disease. They carry within them the memory of Mother Earth, roots, seeds, leaves, and bark infused with the intelligence of nature. When used with awareness, they become daily allies, helping us maintain balance, vitality, and joy long before illness ever arrives.
In this workshop, we will step into that ancient wisdom and reawaken our senses. You will smell, taste, and touch each spice, discovering how its qualities can soothe digestion, reduce inflammation, calm the mind, support hormonal balance, strengthen immunity, and keep the body resilient through the seasons. This is not just information, it is an embodied journey that allows you to connect with the soul of the spices themselves.
To anchor the experience, you will receive a beautifully prepared manual to take home, containing all the knowledge shared: the history of spices, their Ayurvedic properties, seasonal guidelines, and simple, practical recipes. This way, your kitchen can continue to serve as your Ph*rm*cy, supporting not only healing but, above all, prevention.
Together, we will also cook kitchari, a traditional Ayurvedic dish known for its cleansing, grounding, and anti-inflammatory qualities. More than food, kitchari is medicine in a bowl, it is an expression of how nourishment, when aligned with nature, becomes a sacred act of healing.
This gathering is open to everyone whether you are new to Ayurveda or already walking the path, you will leave with inspiration, tools, and a renewed relationship with your kitchen as a space of healing, connection, and gratitude for the gifts of the Earth.
This workshop is part of Om Shanti Om – The Fair Healing Project and is shared in the spirit of open-hearted exchange. It is offered on a donation basis, so that no one is excluded and everyone can benefit from these teachings. By joining this session and offering from your heart, you are helping to keep alive an ancient tradition where knowledge, food, and healing were always meant to be shared.
