Skillz class with Claire (Wednesday)

Send your child along to learn the fundamentals of drawing with our resident artist Claire!

This class is for children aged 8 to 14 years.

During each of the hour long classes, the children will receive a lesson and demonstration on a drawing element or technique followed by an activity for them to practice.

As they are practicing the technique in class, there may be times that a project is completed over numerous weeks. There may also be occasions when the children are given an additional exercise to take home and practice.

The class will be in a relaxed and social environment, chatting and asking questions is encouraged so long as all are mindful and respectful of everyone's space and during demonstrations.

Lines and Basic Shapes
Construction of Objects
Perspective
Proportion and Scale
Observation
Tonal Values and Shading
Mark Making
Textures
Drawing with Different Materials
Different styles of Drawing
Grid Method
Composition

These classes are booked in a block, but each 60-minute session is £7.
