About the event

INSIDE OUT LAMPSHADE MAKING WORKSHOP

Learn how to make an inside out lampshade with me.

You'll create your own bespoke 20cm lampshade to fit either a ceiling fitting or a lamp base using a colourful summer garden print fabric on the inside of the shade and your choice of plain coloured fabric on the outside. The pattern will then shine through when the light is on.

The class uses simple techniques and I will guide you through applying the fabric, making tidy seams, rolling the shade and tucking in the fabric for a neat finish.

It promises to be lots of fun in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
