Brush pen Calligraphy Workshop at Abbot House, Dunfermline

Want to learn modern calligraphy and write your own unique home decor print? Join me for 2.5 hours of modern calligraphy using a brush pen and learning blending techniques.

You will learn:
-how to hold the pen and set up space for comfort,
-the basic strokes that form letters,
-practise writing the alphabet,
-how to join letters to form words,
-practise writing phrases,
- how to blend colours and create an gradient effect before moving onto your final project writing your very own text/quote for a wall art print.

All materials are provided (workbook, brush pen, blank cards) which you will take home to continue practising your new skill.

No experience in calligraphy needed. The class is suitable for beginners as you will be guided through to the essentials of modern calligraphy with demonstrations. I will also provide you with one-to-one tuition.
