Worlds Of Wonder – Wayfinder's Journey

Get your bearings and find your way to the Planetarium for Navigation Night!

We've got two fantastic shows lined up for you...

Wayfinders: Waves, Winds, and Stars:

Come aboard the voyaging canoe Hōkūleʻa and explore traditional Polynesian navigation. You'll hear about the revival of this ancient practice, which was almost lost, and learn how to orient yourself using just the stars, winds, and waves.

Night Sky Live:

Take a closer look at the sky above on this exciting adventure through the stars. One of our fabulous science communicators will show you some of the most iconic southern constellations, demonstrate how to find the south celestial pole using the stars, and de-mystify the beautiful deep-sky objects that grace the skies overhead every evening.
