Valley Drop-in Session: Free advice about keeping your home warm, dry and energy efficient

Pop in to see Lisa in the Fred Hollows Room at the Valley Project to chat about keeping warm, dry and being energy efficient in your home. No appointment needed!

Lisa can talk about the best ways to trap heat inside your home, how to heat efficiency, where your electricity/gas is going (feel free to bring along your energy bills so we can have a look at them), as moisture issues and more.

We do need to ‘drive’ our houses correctly to get the best from our homes, and sometimes just doing what we have always done is not going to get the results we want.

Lisa has got lots of handy tips (many free) to get the most from your home. Lisa can also connect you with services such as the Dunedin Curtain Bank, Habitat for Humanity and Warmer Kiwi Homes.

Lisa is the Eco Design Advisor from the DCC and can give free, independent advice about housing to all Dunedin residents (tenants, homeowners, landlords can all talk to Lisa).
