Tailor Made - A Tailoring Project with Stitch Kitchen

Intermediate workshop to create your own custom tailored jacket.

Select from classic jacket styles and choose your own fabric and design features in this intermediate-advanced level course. Taught by Dunedin designer Darlene Gore, you will gain confidence with using & adapting patterns, construction tips, fitting, and finishing.

Some experience is a must: Suited for experienced sewists familiar with garment construction, pattern work. We strongly recommend signing up for the Tailoring Tips short course ( https://stitchkitchen.nz/classes/p/tailoring-tips) if you have not previously had experience with working with suiting or interfaced fabrics; working on pockets or collars.

This course runs over six weeks and booking is essential.
