Paul Diamond (Ngāti Hauā, Te Rarawa, Ngāpuhi), Te Papa Tongarewa Head of New Zealand and Pacific Histories and Cultures, presents an illustrated talk about one of the albums featured in the exhibition, A Different Light: First Photographs of Aotearoa.
This talk is presented alongside 'A Different Light: First Photographs of Aotearoa', a collaborative exhibition featuring precious photographs from Auckland Museum, Alexander Turnbull Library and Hocken Collections.
Exhibition open Saturday 20 September 2025 – Saturday 7 February 2026 at the Hocken Gallery, first floor, Hocken Library, 90 Anzac Avenue, Ōtepoti Dunedin.
Gallery hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10am-5pm (closed Sunday, Monday and public holidays).
