Next in Line: 2025

The annual “Next in Line” multi-genre music exhibition returns for its 4th installment.

Aimed at first year students from University of Otago/ Otago Polytechnic, the event encourages the formation of new artist projects (across all genres - bands, dj’s, rappers, solo artists, etc), and provides a fully organised event complete with promotion/marketing, mentorship opportunities, and sweet prizes up for grabs! Next in Line has played host to many artist projects since its inception in 2022, many of whom have gone on to make a solid name for themselves within the local and national scene. 2025 features showcase artist IVY , Ōtepoti’s pinnacle of emerging talent.
