Ma-Fi Arts July Holiday Programme

Contrary to our already publicised detail that Ma-Fi Arts was closing we have decided to reopen for the upcoming July holidays: Monday June 30 to Friday July 11 as some film-makers are making a documentary about Ma-Arts and want to be able to film a session in action. That will be during one day of the holidays. In addition during the middle weekend (July 5th and 6th) of the holidays we are having open days during which previous attendees of Ma-Fi Arts can come in to our rooms in KEC. (King Edward Court)
The film-makers would like to be able to interview some parents and caregivers, the children of whom have attended Ma-Fi Arts Workshop over the years. We’ve been running for 20 years in KEC and operated for 4 years before that at a different location. In addition we welcome any former attendees, who can comment about their times at Ma-Fi Arts. We do see some of you about Dunedin if you feel like participating, that would be great. Some testimonies can be entirely in written form if the writer is not in Dunedin at that time, or doesn’t want to be on film. I do know that by now many of our former students live and work in other countries or in different NZ cities.
