Nau mai haere mai ki te Waka ama haerenga o Fire in Ice
Fire in Ice invites you to attend the annual IceBreaker Challenge regatta, held on the Ōtākou Harbour in Ōtepoti, Dunedin. The event is spread over two days of racing, designed to challenge our waka paddlers at all levels and showcase our beautiful southern harbour.
This sanctioned, two-day Waka Ama distance event will include: 10km short-course racing for W1, 2 and 6, and a 20km for all divisions of W6. In 2024 we are introducing a revised Juniors event with options to compete in 1-3km racing; looking forward to seeing even more of our taitamariki on the water this June!
