Fundraiser @ Casa Tina

Diners at Casa Tina Mexican Restaurant can satisfy more than just their taste buds this summer — they can help support the arts, too. On Monday, June 16th, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., the beloved downtown hotspot will host a spirited fundraising night to benefit the Dunedin International Film Festival, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Casa Tina has pledged to donate 20% of all restaurant sales during the event to the festival, offering patrons a flavorful way to champion independent film and culture in the heart of Dunedin.

The goal of the fundraiser is to help the Dunedin International Film Festival reach its 2025 fundraising benchmark of $50,000, which supports venue costs, filmmaker hospitality, and year-round programming. Now in its 8th year, the festival is set to return January 22–25, 2025, showcasing independent films across beloved local venues including The Fenway Hotel, HOB Brewing Co., and the Scottish Cultural Center. As the festival continues to grow, organizers are also working toward the long-term vision of establishing a dedicated Dunedin Public Theater. Until then, the festival remains deeply grateful to its community partners and generous hosts throughout downtown Dunedin, whose support keeps the spotlight shining on arts and culture in the city.
