Commemoration event for Kaleb Donald

The location for this event is the Otago Business School Board Room (2nd floor; Room 2.20). If you take the elevator to the 2nd floor, someone will be in the lobby there to direct you.

It is with great sadness that we share the news that Kaleb Donald [BA(Hons) Classics 2024] passed suddenly from a medical incident. Kaleb was an active member of our Classics whānau and served on the CLASSOC exec during his studies with us.

We will be hosting an event on campus on Friday, 22 August at 2pm. We have not yet finalized the location but will update this post with further details tomorrow. This will be an opportunity to share any photos and memories of Kaleb. A member of the Mental Health & Wellbeing Team will also be there for support. His family will also be organizing a memorial service a little later in the year and this will not be the only opportunity to come together to celebrate Kaleb.

The Mental Health & Wellbeing Team are also there to support you - please just ring Student Health (0800 479 821) and ask for a mental health support appointment. If you are having trouble getting an appointment ask for the mental health duty worker. There is no charge for this appointment and it is confidential. Please just reach out if you need to.
