ChorusFest 2025 - Demonstration Concert

Opera Otago warmly invites you to attend a concert of opera choruses and arias performed by local soloists and our 2025 ChorusFest choir.

After two weekend workshops with Brent Stewart, accompanists Tom McGrath and Ozan Biner-McGrath, and movement co-ordinator Emma Donaldson, the choir will perform:

Voyager's Chorus from Mozart's Idomeneo
By the mystic regulation from Gilbert & Sullivan's The Grand Duke
Dance a cachuca from Gilbert & Sullivan's The Gondoliers
Nun's Chorus - Music by Johann Strauss; from Casanova
Easter Hymn - from Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana
You'll Never Walk Alone with Climb Every Mountain - Rodgers & Hammerstein
