Anna Leese, Gloria & Organ Symphony

After an absence of 4 years, we welcome Anna Leese’s return to join the DSO the City Choir Dunedin and Choirs Aotearoa Otago-Southland Choir on the Town Hall stage. Leese will lend her special vocal gifts to Francis Poulenc’s 'Gloria', a captivating mixture of solemnity and exuberance.
The organ plays a starring role in Saint-Saëns’ magisterial third symphony 'Organ', driving the symphony forward from its understated first entry to the work’s spectacular finale. This promises to be a thrilling conclusion to DSO’s 2025 International Series.
