Following on from the success of their highly acclaimed debut album ‘nothing hurt and everything was beautiful’, Belfast shoegazers Virgins return with the release of their new single 'b l o o m s'. On ‘b l o o m s’, the band redefine their sound while exploring new emotional depths and expanding their sonic palette. Shimmering verses explode into swirling choruses, accented by reverse delays and glide guitar. The euphoria inducing crescendo of fuzz and siren vocals releases the pressure valve of tension cultivated throughout the track.
The band recently completed a UK tour in support of the album, including two shows at the respected Other Voices festival in Wales.
The band have supported A Burial At Sea, Bdrmm, Signcrushesmotorist and Bleach Lab on their Irish tour dates as well as Black Doldrums in the UK.
