The Bionic Rats Live at Toales – Saturday, 16th August
Toales Live Venue, Dundalk, is thrilled to welcome The Bionic Rats to the stage on Saturday, August 16th.
Formed in Dublin in 2006 by frontman Del Bionic, following the breakup of reggae outfit King Sativa, The Bionic Rats have spent the past two decades perfecting their signature mix of ska, reggae, and soul. Known for their infectious grooves and powerhouse live shows, they’ve become a cornerstone of the Irish music scene.
The band has supported legends like Lee 'Scratch' Perry, Horace Andy, The Beat, Jimmy Cliff, The Selecter, and Bad Manners, and in 2023 served as the backing band for Roy Ellis of Symarip. One of their most memorable moments came when Ranking Roger joined them onstage for what would be his final Irish performance.
With four studio albums, a live record, and an incredible 18-year residency at Dublin’s Foggy Dew, The Bionic Rats are one of Ireland’s most seasoned and beloved live acts.
