Seán Mc Cluskey, a Drogheda-based musician and composer, is celebrated for his eclectic fusion of jazz, folk, and contemporary sounds. Following a break from performing and writing with the electronic group We Eat Electric Light, Seán has returned to the stage with a new collection of songs exploring themes of love, mortality, and societal complexities, incorporating elements of council estate dadaism.
His latest video, a poignant and moving live recording of "Olive," a tribute to an important person, was filmed in a Drogheda alleyway in Rathmullan Park.
Seán will be accompanied by an exceptional band featuring Ógy Collins (keys), Tadhg Leahy (guitar), Gene Carolan (bass), Ants Kierans (drums), and Caimin Hall (fiddle). His live performances are characterized by improvisation and a blend of diverse musical styles.
