This course lasts 3.5 hours, with continuous theory and practical assessment.

Introduction to Paediatric First Aid
Planning and Preparation
Calling the Emergency Services
Choking – Infant, Child
CPR – Infant, Child
Common Medical and Traumatic Paediatric Emergencies, such as:
Febrile Convulsions, Shock, Meningitis, Croup vs. Epiglottitis, Minor Wounds, Bumps & Bruises, Nose bleeds, Fainting, Burns, Poisoning & Poison Preventions and Pain / Temperature Management .
Certification and Additional Materials
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive an O'Hanlon Health and Safety 'Paediatric First Aid' certificate valid for 2 years.
Additionally, each participant will receive:
A comprehensive 56 page Paediatric First Aid Manual
A RED Card (Request Emergency Dispatch Card) to assist in emergency situations
