Join us on October 1st as we gather in reflection, learning, and community to honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
This event is hosted by the Support Network for Indigenous Women and Women of Colour (SNIWWOC) in partnership with the Cowichan Intercultural Society (CIS).
A community Elder will share a story and speak about cultural protocol, offering wisdom and guidance. We will also share a delicious meal together, creating space for reflection, meaningful conversation, and connection.
We welcome both Indigenous and non-Indigenous community members to join us with open hearts and minds, ready to listen, learn, and walk together on the path of reconciliation.
SNIWWOC and CIS are honoured to host this gathering with deep respect and gratitude for the opportunity to live, learn, and work on the traditional lands of the Quwʼutsun people.
