A walk to and from the historic broch, up the Whiteadder river valley.
A mildly strenuous uphill walk to the broch over largely agricultural land with much gorse (Ulex europaeus), mixed woodland and upland grazing. This walk takes in the remarkable Elba Falls and affords great views to the south. The walk is 1.5 miles each way.

Children over 8 welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. No dogs except assistance dogs: livestock may be present. Stout footwear required. There is no wheel chair access. Please bring binoculars if you have them.
